Shake Weight For Men's Arms and Chest - Jingle Music Video Contest

A couple of months ago Shake Weight launched a Jingle Contest to promote the by now notoriously famous Shake Weight fitness gadget that promises to tone your arms and chest. In this Hub you can enjoy some of the Jingle videos and lyrics for the Shake Weight contest.

Members of the community were encouraged to vote for the groups’ videos on shakeweightsong.com. The videos were also widely viewed and commented upon on YouTube. So here are my five most favoured choices, starting at number five and finishing with the winning number one. Interestingly, none of the jingles seem to have titles.

This is what they write in their own description:

"The Best Shake Weight Jingle on YouTube. The more you listen to it, the more it sticks in your head. Its crazy. Everyone who hears it a couple times finds themselves singing it, over and over again."

A delighted Carlson said: "It kind of felt like I won the lottery. I was really excited, I called my mom and dad right away and obviously called the other two guys". They will also have a chance to record their jingle and go on a national press tour.
"The idea of rerecording a song in the studio is exciting and to get to be in a real studio setting and see what it's all about would be awesome," said Froedge.
The guys are ready for whatever comes their way.
Froedge said "If something happens then, we're there. We're on board to do it. If it's to go to Los Angeles to re-record the jingle, if it's to be on a talk show, then that's great. And if we just win a big chunk of money, that's good too."

The Ellen Show

There has also been talk of a possible spot on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Carlson said  "They are going to push the song to morning talk shows and the biggest markets and they're going to push the song on to the Ellen (DeGeneres) show because Ellen is a big
fan of the Shake Weight and they said they are going to do everything in their power to get us on there".
Carlson said they would be willing to lend their skills to the mega-hit talk show.
"If Ellen is looking for a new jingle, we'd be happy to come up with something," he said.
The guys said they are grateful to Shake Weight. They said they have had a blast so far and are excited about the future.

I quite like some of the music and lyrics but it's a shame that none of the videos actually show much of what you can do with the Shake Weight. I would have liked a well choreographed dance routine using he Shake Weight showing a variety of moves that can be done with it. Oh well, maybe next time OR....
