By Sue Adams

The Easy Fitness Table of Contents is an ongoing and growing resource containing the bulk of Sue Adams' Hubs on Fitness, Weight Loss Tips and Physical Intelligence. Each article is self contained and can benefit the reader independently of all the others. But as the number of articles increases, it has become necessary to provide an ongoing, constantly updated Table of Contents for those readers who wish to follow the EasyFitness Hubs in their intended chronological and physiological order.

The Original Plan

The original intention for the EasyFitness series was to follow Juliette Kando's classic plan: Start at the base (the feet, grounding etc.) and gradually work up through the body dealing with each set of joints, one at a time (ankles, knees, pelvis etc... finishing at the top of the skull and beyond). I am still pursuing that original plan with a few necessary side-tracks.

Distractions

Yes, I got distracted. For example, when I wrote the article about the feet, I realised it wouldn’t be much use informing readers about their feet if no attention was paid to the type of shoes they were wearing. So before I could continue with the ankles and knees, etc. I had to write an article about what shoes can do to people’s feet. And so on, you understand.

But Finally

I have come up with a comprehensive summary where, hopefully, you can find what you are looking for.

Bolsters Are Good For You

OneTouch Massage Full Round Bolster Pillow Plum 4K
You can use a thick towel rolled over a rolling pin or you can splash out and buy a few bolsters. Always have a few comfy bolsters at your disposal. You can get them in various sizes and colors. The best bolsters are those with a solid inside core surrounded by soft padding. Use them for exercise or just to put behind the lower back in the car or at home, or to prop up a baby learning to crawl. A few bolsters in the house add to your well deserved comfort zone. I couldn't do without them anymore.

February 2012 Progress Report

I've got slightly diverted by hanging upside down, reading my date's body language, a quick natural facelift and the dangers of eating meat but eventually, after the pelvis, and finding your waistline I managed to get to the top of the body with hub number 18 about the shoulders and neck. Now I can add a full course of facial exercises taken from my book Natural Facelift and introduce you to Baby Yoga, which is a course on how to get fit with your baby, toddler or young child. I better hurry and finish the series before you guys and gals catch up with me. In the mean time you may start at the beginning and move through the hubs in numerical order to fully gain from this online EasyFitness course.

What an amazing hub. It links to so much valuable information. people pay thousands of dollars for the info you are giving away for free.

Glad you liked it Dale Mazurek. I couldn't find the link on your blog. Never mind.

Yes trose, I think you will learn a lot from an old pro if you come back to read every link on this hub. Remember to start at "How to Structure an Exercise Session". After that, start at the base, with your feet "These Feet Are Made For Walking"

What a useful Hub Sue. I have read some of the hubs and am particularly impressed with the one about Hanging Upside down. It seems to be a perfect way of improving your body without any effort. I am seriously thinking about getting a gravity inverter now

So much info here, it's hard to know where to start. For me, I am going to do someting about my pot belly and start with "How to Become a Good Mover", which sounds more fun than doing sit-ups for hours on end.

Hi Henry,

Sorry for the late reply. I have been away for a while. Have you got your gravity invertor yet? How are you getting on?

Very informative and healthy Hub, but it will be lots of hard work. lol.

No pain, no gain...

Sue Adams profile image

Sue Adams Hub Author 3 months ago

Hi Lady_E,

My motto is actually "No Pain, Just Gain!" When you listen to your body and get a better understanding of how it works for you, then you discover that learning to move well (rather than dumb, blind, pushy exercise) is easy, great fun, and exhilarating. No hard work, no pain, only body awareness and physical intelligence come into play.

Great to have found one single place with all the info I need to keep up to date with the best fitness advice. I have bookmarked the page, read some of the hubs mentioned here and done some of the exercises. Somewhat unconventional, but they make a lot of sense to me.

Thanks for posting Sue!

Hello Chris,

That is the whole idea behind Easy Fitness, to take out all the commercial hype, torturing machines and dogma, to make people think for themselves, feel and understand their own bodies. Remember my motto: "No Pain, Just Gain!".
